| Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Announces Strategic Alliance with African-American Automobile Dealers |
|
(Philadelphia, PA) September 24, 2007 - As it continues to strengthen its relationship through corporate partnerships, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has formed an alliance with the Daimler Chrysler Minority Dealers Association (DCMDA). DCMDA is comprised of over 100 minority dealers across the country who are not only experienced entrepreneurs, but all have a commitment to giving back to the community through programs and partnerships. DCMDA was a key sponsor of Kappa's 78th Grand Chapter Meeting in Minneapolis this past summer. DCMDA's leadership is headed by a trio of accomplished Kappa Achievers including Jesse Greathouse, President (Beta Xi); Reggie Hubbard, President-Elect (Zeta Chi); and Jerry Dillard, 2nd Vice-President (Theta Theta), along with several other fraternity members. All of its dealers are prepared to work directly with Kappa to service its automobile needs. According to Grand Polemarch, Dwayne M. Murray, Esquire, "Kappa must have strategic alliances in order to continue its growth. The relationship with DCMDA is an opportunity to support minority entrepreneurs, several who are Kappas, while providing an added membership benefit to our Brothers." Additional information regarding the alliance will be included in upcoming Journals and Confidential Bulletins. There will also be a direct link from the fraternity's website to the DCMDA website. In the meantime, feel free to view the DCMDA website (www.DCMDA.org), which includes a savings coupon for the Kappa program. |
